Highlights
Real Radio continues to provide Wales' best variety of music - and the Real Breakfast Show continues to give you a smile first thing in the morning!
Tony and Angela start at 6am (but Ricky Dee is covering for the holidaying Tony at the moment) and from 6.30am, you have the chance to be a Real winner on ‘Scoop or not Scoop' - the game where you work out whether the given news headline is true or not! There are other competitions from time to time and at 8.15, ‘Tricky Ricky' - Ricky impersonates someone famous, calls an unsuspecting victim and you have to guess how long he can stay on the phone without being cut off! At 9am, (every day), we have The Real Golden Hour! Songs from two featured years. Chris Moore starts at 10am and every day, he talks to newspaper editors and representatives from TV to find out what's going on across Wales and on weekend television. Pop The Question rolls on with more contestants and more replays! It's our daily music quiz over two rounds with various workplaces competing against each other to become PTQ champions! Wiggy presents his show from 1pm which features ‘The Headline Hit' - suggested song titles to accompany today's news (or something that's happened to Wiggy!) and Wiggy's Biggies from 3.30, three songs chosen by you!
Dave Brookes presents The Real Drive Home with regular travel bulletins, news and sport - it's everything you need for the end of the working day! He also previews the show that starts at 6pm ( whether it's the RSPI or Summer Game Show! )
From 6pm, The Real Summer Game Show gives you the chance to win some fantastic prizes! Simon Hawkins is your host with a selection of questions covering a multitude of subjects! If you're on air, simply keep getting the questions correct to stay on. The highest score of the week wins our weekly prize and the highest score at the end of the series claims the star prize! The Real Sports Phone In replaces The Real Summer Gameshow during the football/ rugby season.
At 7pm for The Real Happy Hour playing great music before Jo Lloyd gives you the chance to choose the music for an hour from 8pm. She continues to play Wales' best variety of music until midnight when Jude or Alex look after the overnights.
Throughout the day, Real news on the hour will keep you up to date with the news that matters to you and our Real Sports reporters keep an eye on all the Welsh national and regional football and rugby action, both home and away.
Real Action is a daily bulletin focusing on a non-profit making organisation's appeal for that week and our Crimestoppers feature reports on crime across Wales that needs your help to solve.
Weekends begin with High School Days, Friday nights from 8pm, where we play non-stop 80's Anthems for four hours. On Saturdays, Chris Tarrant entertains like only Chris can and on Saturdays and Sundays, we bring you the best in quality, well made music focused documentaries (at 1pm). There's up-tempo disco classics from 6pm on Saturday nights on Disco Divas and three hours of great wind ups with Robin Galloway on Sundays at 4pm.
