The first ever Super 8 competition takes place in Leckwith (7pm) - an inter-city event with a full programme, but condensed into just 2 hours.

It's being described as "the Twenty20 Cup of Athletics" and if the pilot is successful it could become a regular fixture on the calendar with cities bidding to host the event.
