Enzo Maccarinelli prepares to make his boxing comeback on Saturday as he takes on Krisztian Jaksi in Newcastle.

The Swansea star hasn't fought since his shock defeat to Denis Lebedev in July. That was his third knockout defeat in four fights after going down against Ola Afolabi and David Haye.

It's on the undercard to Amir Khan's WBA light-welterweight title defence against Dmitriy Salita.

Jaksi, from Budapest, is a 24-year-old with six wins, 12 losses and four draws to his name.

Enzo says the fight has renewed his love for the sport. He said: "With the way I lost last time alot of people are questioning whether my confidence is as it should be or whether I'll be gun shy come fight night. But I can tell you when that bell goes I'm going to be doing what i used to which is swing bombs.

"I do believe that I will be World Champion again one day. When that day comes I can tell you I will be bringing hell.

"The two boys I lost to, I really shouldn't have lost to. But all credit to them, they beat me on the night and they were the better men on the night.

"I'm just looking forward to getting back into the ring."
