Cardiff Christmas Lights
It might have been a freezing cold November night but Tony and Angela were full of Christmas spirit as they hosted Cardiff's Christmas illuminations switch on.
They were joined on stage by Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones, the stars of hit TV show Gavin and Stacey.
Welsh choir Only Men Aloud and CBeebies' Tweenies were on hand to provide entertainment, along with visually impaired 14-year-old Mared Jarman who sang Silent Night during the hour of celebrations.
Standing on stage in the civic centre in front of an estimated 10,000 people, Brydon said: "I can't believe it, there must be over 100 people here - look at this crowd!"
The switch on ended with a spectacular three-minute fireworks display.
