During the 1983 Motown 25th Anniversary, Michael Jackson stole the show when he performed Billie Jean and did the Moonwalk for the first time.

HOW TO DO THE MOONWALK LIKE JACKO
Michael Jacksons Thriller album was the first to use the music video as a successful promotional tool and the video for the song Thriller is considered one of the best of all time. Jackson dances his way through the story as a werewolf and by the end of 1984, kids all over the world were copying him. At the time the video was considered so shocking it was given a UK late-night premiere on Channel 4. Director John Landis used the same techniques he used in 1981's An American Werewolf In London and Jackson is seen as a zombie leading a dance troupe of the undead along a deserted street.

To promote Michael Jackson's 25th anniversary re-release of Thriller earlier this year, London commuters got free entertainment on the tube when a group of people got out of their seats and busted out the moves to Thriller. They performed the routine and then sat down like nothing ever happened!
