A new television show – Dating in the Dark – aims to answer the question ‘Do looks matter?’ by getting contestants to choose a date in the dark.

Three men and three women will live together in separate apartments, only meeting each other for brief ‘dates’ in a room without a light, the ‘Dark Room’. At the end of each episode, on the Living show, the lonely hearts will pick their ideal partner and the person will be revealed in the light for the first time.
