Swansea City reckon they're not being treated fairly by referees this season because they're "only a small club".

The Swans are still furious after the weekend defeat to Nottingham Forest. They were denied a clear penalty when Darren Pratley was fouled in the box, and then to compound matters the home side scored from a corner in stoppage time which shouldn't have been awarded because of offside.

After the game Boss Paulo Sousa said: "Once more, week by week it happens to us. I hope someone can explain to me why? But it's very difficult to explain."

His players now seem to agree with him. Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries said: "It happen against Newcastle, Plymouth, even Crystal Palace away when there was a heavy tackle of Shefki Kuqi which should have been a red card but it wasn't, and then last week.

"It's really hard to respond to as players. We're starting to get a little annoyed by those decisions.

"In all division's all over the world I think the bigger teams will get more decisions for them than against them.

Angel Rangel tells Real Sport's Mark Poyser the squad are still angry after Saturday's defeat to Forest

"It's hard to take at times when so many go against you but we've just got to deal with that.

"At the start of the season you say these things even themselves out, but even if we got all the decisions in all the games between now and the end of the season it wouldn't even it out.

They can bounch back on Tuesday with a win over Watford at Vicarage Road. Back in August a late header from Alan Tate earned the Swans a point against the Hornets at the Liberty Stadium.

Andrea Orlandi and Joe Allen both remain out but they are both now back in training. Garry Monk is yet again a big doubt with a back problem.
