Cardiff City Boss Dave Jones says he'd had no bids for striker Michael Chopra after reported interest from Ipswich and Leeds.

Friday's paper's suggested both clubs were ready to make bids for the 26 year old.

But Jones said: "I was with Roy Keane yesterday and he never mentioned Chops. They made inquiries about him like most of our players.

"When your club is talked about as being in financial trouble you get lots of enquiries as I would do if I was in their position.

"But some of the prices that are being quoted are absolutely crazy."

Chopra hit out at the club a few weeks ago over failing to bring in any new players because of their current transfer embargo.

He also threatened to leave the club but the Bluebirds Boss insists he's happy at the club.
