Croft on verge of Glamorgan history

Robert Croft is hoping to break the 1,000 first class wicket barrier for Glamorgan in Monday's County Championship match against Northamptonshire.
He's been included in the squad for the clash at Wantage Road just three wickets short of the milestone.

If the veteran 40 year old spinner can pull it off he'll become first Glamorgan cricketer to reach the magnificent milestone of 1,000 wickets and 10,000 runs for the Welsh county, and the first player to achieve this landmark for a single county since 1972.
He said: "Alot of people have spoken to me about that. When I was 10 or 11 starting the game you think will that ever come.
