Test match cricket will be returning to Glamorgan's Swalec Stadium in 5 years time.

Cardiff will host a 5 day game against Sri Lanka in 2014 to go along with the one against the same opposition in 2011.

Glamorgan Chairman Paul Russell tells Real Sport's Mark Poyser the matches they've been awarded is the best they could have hoped for

After being widely praised for the way they handled the first Ashes test between England and Australia which eneded in a dramatic draw earlier this month, they remain in the running to stage a test in 2013.

The ECB have today confirmed Durham and the Oval will host 2 of the 5 matches against the Aussies with the other 3 still up for grabs.

Glamorgan will also host 5 One Day Internationals between 2012 and 2016 and a Twenty20 game against Australia in 7 years time.
