The Plot
Terence McDonagh, a corrupt detective loves to score drugs but is fiercely dedicated to his job as well. He begins investigating the killing of five Senegalese immigrants in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The intelligent addict uses his intuitive skills to scour New Orleans for the next score as well as the murderers. Side by side his love, a prostitute, he delves deeper into his own underworld, driven and tormented by desire, compulsion and conscience.
