Arctic Survival Adventure Open Challenge

There are just 15 places available in this fantastic open challenge and raise vital life-saving funds for The Anthony Nolan Trust.*
So if you fancy challenging yourself in a different way and help save lives from leukaemia take part in this exciting 'Arctic Survival Adventure Open Challenge', from Thursday 11th to Thursday 18th March 2011.
Set in a stunning and pristine wilderness 150 km south of the Arctic Circle, this once in a lifetime experience challenges your ability to adapt and live in the heart of this harsh environment, tests your survival instinct and provides complete tranquillity and relaxation under the Arctic stars. Experience the thrill of husky driving and snowmobiling, learn the life-saving skills of ice fishing, fire lighting, shelter and snow hole building to name but a few.
The Anthony Nolan Trust helps to save lives from Leukaemia by managing and recruiting people aged between 18-40 years old, to join their bone marrow register. Today, there are over 16,000 children and adults with leukaemia and related diseases whose only hope is to find a suitable bone marrow donor. Your support can help the charity recruit more potential donors to our bone marrow register – thereby increasing the chances of finding a life-saving match for those desperately waiting for it. Tissue typing each new donor only costs £125 – so your support could really make a difference and help us save lives.

Anthony Nolan provide you with the necessary support and advice to make sure you enjoy every moment of your exhilarating challenge once you have signed up for this open challenge. To get you started, they supply you with your very own fundraising pack consisting of sponsorship forms, information about the charity, a t-shirt branded with the logo and an A-Z fundraising guide to help you reach your sponsorship target required.
Entry fee is £200 per person and there is a minimum sponsorship to be raised of £2,650 per person.
